The terms and conditions outlined below are subject to change - it is therefore the responsibility of you (the client) to check these terms before placing an order. If you have any queries about any of the information below then please contact email@example.com. By placing an order with Harriett and Joel you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
All designs on our website and social media platforms are the property of Harriett and Joel. You, or any third party should not copy any part of the design or reproduce it in any way. It is your responsibility to obtain copyright permission for the use of hymns, readings, venue logos etc. used on any stationery including the Order of Service booklet. We reserve the right to post your stationery designs on all our social media platforms and on www.harriettandjoel.com. We will never publish any personal information such as your address or contact details. If you would prefer not to have your stationery design used on our platforms please let us know at the time of ordering.
Deposits, Payments and Refunds
We require 50% of the total cost of your stationery order as a deposit when your order is placed. No design work will commence until this deposit has been received. The total balance of your order is required on completion of our design sign-off form which we will send via email before your stationery is printed. Due to the bespoke nature of our products, Harriett and Joel cannot offer refunds or exchanges unless the stationery is deemed faulty. If you are unhappy with your order please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do our best to rectify the problem.
We would strongly recommend ordering a sample pack before placing an order to ensure that the cardstock type and print finish meets your expectations. We cannot refund orders if you are unhappy with the cardstock and any re-prints you request will be charged for. Please note that there may be slight differences in colour between your digital proof and the printed product. This is due to colours appearing differently on screen compared to a flat colour on a printed surface and will not be considered as a fault and therefore will not be eligible for a refund.
We can only provide a refund or exchange if goods are faulty. Any faults must be reported in writing within five days of you receiving your order. If your order is deemed faulty, we will request that you return the complete order to us, and we will decide on the appropriate course of action. We will only offer a full refund if the complete order is faulty.
If you wish to cancel your order please let us know as soon as possible. All paid deposits are non-refundable, however no further payments will be taken should you wish to cancel. If you cancel after you have paid your deposit, but before you have received a proof of your artwork then you will receive a refund of your deposit in full, minus a £25 admin fee.
It is your responsibility to proof read all of the text in the digital proofs we send you. We strongly recommend printing the artwork at the correct size before it is sent to print to make sure you are happy with the size of the text. We will not begin print/production of your order until we have received a completed sign-off form, signed by you. We cannot accept returns due to typographical errors made on your part. Once your final artwork proof is approved you accept full responsibility for any mistakes that are discovered after print/production. Any re-prints required will need to be paid for by you, the cost of which will depend on the type of print/production involved.
Harriett and Joel will not accept any responsibility for damages that happen after stationery has left the studio. This includes any damages that occur whilst the stationery is in transit to you, as well further delivery from you to your guests. In the event of stationery being damaged by the postal service, we will always provide proof of postage and help you to make a claim. All of our orders are posted via DPD Next Day Delivery or Royal Mail Special Delivery, and you will be provided with the tracking details when your order has been posted.
