Below are the answers to the questions we get asked the most, however if you’re struggling to find the answer you are looking for then please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help!
We want to order our Wedding Invitations - where do we start?
To start with, download our Wedding Invitation Toolkit. The toolkit includes everything you need and everything you need to know about ordering your wedding invitations.
Can I call you in person to discuss our Wedding Stationery?
Yes! You can book a Stationery Consultation appointment here. During the appointment I can answer any questions you may have before placing your stationery order. Weekend and evening appointment slots are available.
When should we send a Save the Date?
These should be sent around twelve-eighteen months before your big day. A save the date isn’t always needed, but they’re a good way of letting people know about your wedding. It also gives people enough time to book holidays from work etc. I’d recommend keeping your save the date super simple, that way, if you change your mind on a theme in between sending these and your invitations it doesn’t matter too much!
When should we send our Wedding Invitations?
I would recommend sending your invitations at least four to six months in advance. If you haven’t sent a save the date, then you can send your invitations up to a year in advance. This gives guests enough time to book accommodation and make travel arrangements. Make sure your rsvp date is at least two months before your big day to give you enough time to chase anyone who hasn’t replied!
When should we order On the Day Stationery?
On the day stationery should be ordered at least eight weeks before the big day. On the day stationery includes:
Any Signage, an Order of Service, Table Plan, Place Name Cards, Table Names/Numbers, Menu Cards, Favour Tags, Instagram Cards... basically any stationery that guests will see on the day!
How long will it take for our Invites to arrive?
If you are ordering from one of the House Collections, then it normally takes around four weeks from the initial proof to delivery. If you’re using our bespoke design service then it will take a little longer. For bespoke stationery, I estimate eight to ten weeks from the initial concepts and design stage through to delivery.
We know what we’d like our Save the Dates/Invitations to look like, can you take bespoke orders?
Yes! A lot of the stationery we create is bespoke, however please bear in mind there may be a design fee for bespoke artwork. When creating bespoke stationery, I normally ask you to send over any imagery or mood boards you may have (Pinterest is great for this!) and we’ll start and create ideas based on this.
Can I order samples?
Yes! Sample packs are available to order here. Please note there is a small charge for these, and we cannot send personalised samples. The cost of one sample pack is redeemable against the total cost of your stationery.
Can we see samples of one of your House Collections in our colours?
Yes! However this is classed as a Bespoke Sample pack, and will cost £20. The cost of one sample pack is redeemable against the total cost of your stationery.
How much will our Stationery cost?
A full price list is available to view here, however prices will vary depending on quantity and cardstock. For a more accurate cost please get in touch with your exact needs and we can send you a detailed quote.
How many Save the Dates/Invitations do I need to order?
On average, people order half as many save the dates/invitations as the number of guests. I’d suggest following the ‘one per household’ rule, and include anyone living at this household on one Invitation. However, if there are children living at that address who are adults then send a separate invitation. For example, Mr and Mrs Smith and their 20 year old son and partner would be separate invitations. Our Invitation Calculator may help you work out how many you need! It is worth noting that evening guests don’t usually require a save the date.
